Types of wooden logs
Laminated wooden logs
Our laminated logs are crafted by gluing together two or more planed blanks, ensuring that the heartwood remains on the log's surface. This technique minimizes cracking and bending. While most of our log houses utilize various sizes of laminated logs, we also provide a wide range of other log types.
Cross laminated timber
Cross-laminated timber (CLT) is a premium solid wood product suitable for constructing various structures, from single-family homes and apartment buildings to towering skyscrapers. Renowned in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries, CLT is celebrated for its strength, versatility, and eco-friendliness. For homebuyers aiming to build an all-wood home, CLT is an excellent choice. make the wall structure airtight, durable and energy efficient.
Square pine log
Square pine logs are multi-laminated, producing straight and precise timbers. Manufactured from two to eight lamellas, these logs use an adhesive that preserves the wood’s natural breathability. The bonding joints, invisible to the naked eye, allow water vapor to pass through, ensuring they don't create a compact plastic film within the wood structure.
Non-settling fusion logs
The non-settling Fusion log allows for the seamless integration of other materials and large glass elements into log wall structures. This innovation minimizes settling effects by incorporating vertical middle layers of laminated logs. The non-settling feature is achieved through a vertical middle lamella, a Wood-On-Wood profile, tight bolting to eliminate installation clearances, and a special drying process. The thin seam created by the log profile gives the house a modern look both inside and out.
